Our annual Halloween show is the highlight of the DRESS:FANCY year. Host Lucy Clayton is joined by writers Rosalind Yana and Chris Woodyard to explore the perplexing human impulse to imbue clothes with meaning beyond the grave. Can a garment embody a spirit? We consider the modern iterations of Mourning Jewellery alongside ancient memorial customs, and Lucy really tightens up plans for her own, lavish funeral.
